Instructions for using the Wella EIMI Texture Touch
- Step 1: Use a Wella Shampoo and Wella Conditioner first for best results.

After years of searching and trying different products, I still haven't found the right hair care product. After trying mousse, wax, gel and other styling products from different brands, I was excited to be chosen to try Wella professionals EIMI Texture Touch. Hopefully, with this product, the end of my search is finally in sight.
When I received the parcel, the first thing I noticed was its appearance. It is a calm and civilised packaging. It doesn't look cheap or garish. However, I do think it appeals more to men than women in terms of appearance. It looks a bit masculine. It is a small jar (75 ml), is easily sealable and therefore easy to carry. It smells pleasant. It has a nice fragrance but is not overly scented. It is a styling clay that can be re-shaped several times a day, according to the description. Na jaren van zoeken en uitproberen van verschillende producten heb ik nog steeds niet de juiste haarverzorging gevonden. Na mousse, wax, gel en andere stylingproducten van verschillende merken geprobeerd te hebben was ik enthousiast uitgekozen te zijn om Wella professionals EIMI Texture Touch te proberen. Hopelijk is met dit product het einde van mijn zoektocht eindelijk in zicht.
Toen ik het pakketje binnen kreeg viel als eerste het uiterlijk op. Het is een rustige en beschaafde verpakking. Het ziet er niet goedkoop of schreeuwerig uit. Wel denk ik dat het meer mannen aanspreekt dan vrouwen qua uitstraling. Het oogt een beetje mannelijk. Het is een klein potje (75 ml), is goed afsluitbaar en daardoor goed mee te nemen. Het ruikt aangenaam. Het heeft een lekkere geur maar is niet overdreven geparfumeerd. Het is een styling klei die volgens de beschrijving meerdere malen per dag opnieuw in model gebracht kan worden. Through the review club, I got the chance to test the Wella EIMI Texture Touch styling clay. Now that I have used this for some time, it is time for a second review. My history with styling products has not always been positive so I had my doubts whether this product was going to do what it is supposed and promised to do. So you can safely say that I was somewhat sceptical when I started using this.
The styling clay smells nice and is easy to use. At first, it has a somewhat strange texture but then it cannot be compared to gel or mousse. Your hair does not stick together, which makes your hair look fuller. When you use mousse, for example, your hair sticks together more, giving you a kind of wet look. It is a bit hard to get off your hands but that is the case with all similar products. I really liked it. It is economical to use because a little will keep your hair in shape all day. Another advantage is that the jar lasts a long time because you only need a little bit. Which is also good for the wallet.
My expectation beforehand was more of a mousse or gel idea where your hair sticks together a bit more. This gives you more of a wet look and often makes your hair look darker. Your hair looks natural with this styling clay. It doesn't look like you're using anything.

Via de review club kreeg ik de kans om de Wella EIMI Texture Touch styling clay te testen. Nu ik dit enige tijd heb gebruikt is het tijd voor een tweede review. Mijn historie met stylingproducten is niet altijd even positief geweest dus ik had mijn twijfels of dit product zou gaan doen wat het behoort en beloofd te doen. Je kunt dus met een gerust hart zeggen dat ik enigzins sceptisch was toen ik hier aan begon.
De styling clay ruikt lekker en is gemakkelijk in gebruik. In eerste instantie heeft het een wat vreemde structuur maar het is dan ook niet te vergelijken met gel of mousse. Je haar plakt niet aan elkaar waardoor je haar er voller uitziet. Wanneer je bijvoorbeeld mousse gebruikt plakt je haar meer aan elkaar waardoor je een soort wetlook krijgt. Het is wat lastig van je handen af te krijgen maar dat is bij alle vergelijkbare producten zo. Het beviel mij heel erg goed. Het is zuinig in gebruik omdat je haar met een klein beetje de hele dag in model blijft. Nog een voordeel is dat het potje lang mee gaat omdat je maar een klein beetje nodig hebt. Wat ook nog eens goed is voor de portemonnee.
Mijn verwachting van te voren was meer een mousse of gel idee waarbij je haar wat meer aan elkaar plakt. Daardoor krijg je meer een wetlook en lijkt je haar vaak donkerer. Je haar ziet er met deze styling clay natuurlijk uit. Het ziet er niet alsof je iets gebruikt.

I have been looking for a wax or paste for finer hair for a while now, for which it is important that it doesn't weigh it down too much or become greasy. The packaging indicates that it has medium hold, and it does. I can't use too much of it because then it becomes greasy and heavy rather than thickening and modelling. A small pea-sized amount is enough for fine hair. Don't expect it to stay in shape all day, it's more of a means of tidying up hair. It does and will remain remodelled. At the end of the day, my hair did sag a bit, so if you need more hold I would look further. It has a fresh, pleasant fragrance and a fine amount to last for a while as you don't use much. Thicker hair will benefit from this more than fine hair, I think. All in all, a fine paste, but I'm still looking for a while.|Originally posted at wella.com.
Ik ben al een tijdje op zoek naar een wax of paste voor fijner haar, daarvoor is het van belang dat het niet teveel verzwaard of vettig wordt. De verpakking geeft aan dat het medium hold heeft, en dat is ook zo. Ik kan er niet teveel van gebruiken want dan wordt het eerder vettig en zwaar dan verdikkend en modelleerbaar. Een klein beetje ter grootte van een erwt is voldoende voor fijn haar. Verwacht niet dat het de hele dag in model blijft, het is eerder een middel om het haar wat netter te maken. Het is en blijft wel hermodelleerbaar. Aan het einde van de dag is mijn haar wel wat ingezakt, dus als je meer hold nodig hebt zou ik verder zoeken. Het heeft een frisse, aangename geur en een prima hoeveelheid om een tijdje mee vooruit te kunnen, omdat je niet veel gebruikt. Dikker haar zal hier denk ik wel meer aan hebben dan fijn haar. The scent that is then released is really delicious. The gel spreads well over your hair and gives your hair excellent support. Your hair stays in shape long enough and does not feel greasy.
